Merry Christmas

Here are some pictures of Brooklyn this Christmas... Christmas is like a whole week in my family because we have to go to all sides. This picture of her and the bike is from last week at my mom's side Christmas... she loves the bike even though she can't reach the pedals. We just push her around. This picture is from Christmas morning, she loves her baby stroller.

We had a great week, Brooklyn was a lot of fun and so good.

New Pictures of Brooklyn

Here are some new pics of Brooklyn. She has such a personality. The ones of her in the desk are in my classroom, Tom brought her to visit during parent conferences and she climbed up there and wanted to color. The black sweatshirt is mine, she was trying to put it on so I put it on for her.

Wine tasting

We went wine tasting last week for our anniversary. We had never been before, and we don't really drink wine but we had a great time. We went with our friends who were also celebrating their anniversary.

Halloween

Here are some pics from Halloween... Tom was a Cruz Azul soccer player, and I was a tennis player. Brooklyn was a little cavebaby (Pebbles). I had some extra material from a costume I had to wear for Early human day at work so I made her a costume. I tried to put a bow in her hair but she would just rip it out so she could see it. She had fun trick or treating, but she had it backwards, she would walk up to a house and take candy out of her bucket and give it to them. it was pretty funny. She also would walk around with an empty candy wrapper and pretend to eat it, and share it with everyone else.

Pumpkin Patch

We took Brooklyn to the pumpkin patch this weekend. She wasn't that interested in the pumpkins but she loved the animals. She went right in and fed the goats, and she laid with the pig and wanted to kiss it.

13 months

Brooklyn is 13 months old, where does the time go. This past month has gone so fast, Tom and I are back at work, and Brooklyn is back at daycare. I can't believe how much she learns each day, it is kind of fun picking her up because she brings a smile to my face after a long day. I do miss being home though... maybe with baby number 2. (not that I am pregnant of anything :)

Girls Night

Kinda had a girls night out tonight... Tom went out this afternoon, I picked him up and then when Brooklyn went to bed, I went out with a friend of mine. We had alot of fun, haven't had a night out in awhile. We had a good time and hope to do it again.

Such a Fun Age

Brooklyn is such a fun age right now. She is walking and talking (her own language), playing with her toys, and with us. She is such a character. She loves her stuffed bears, she will read them books on her rocking chair. She also loves pushing them in the shopping cart and taking them for rides on her lion.

One Year Old

We had Brooklyn's party this weekend, it was alot of fun. She loves the water so we got her an Elmo sprinkler.... and a Frog pool. She loved both of them. We were at my parents so we could set them both up in the yard. They also have a big pool that she swam in.

Here she is after all of her gifts were opened. Thank you to everyone who was able to make it. I can't believe my baby is one!

Where has the time gone?

So Brooklyn will turn one next week... the 2nd to be exact. I can't believe how fast this year has gone. We are having her party this weekend so I will post pictures from that soon. She has been taking steps here and there, but finally today she walked across the living room over and over again. She still would rather crawl but this is a start.

We have been busy these past few weeks... Our house was overtaken by fleas (the worst season for the little things in 10 years, lucky us. Also, my grandpa passed away after a difficult run with cancer, and lastly I had to go back to work today.

But, here are some pictures of what she has been up to lately...

First Ouchie!

Brooklyn fell and hit the inside of her mouth the other day. I was in the other room and Tom was watching her. He brought her to me and said she was bleeding. The entire inside of her mouth was filled with blood. I cleaned her mouth out, gave her an ice cube and she was fine. I think she cried for maybe a minute... this picture was taken about 5 minutes after it happened... she looks fine to me. She is pretty tough!

4th of July

The 4th of July was fun, we went swimming, watched a boat parade and went to the park for fireworks. Brooklyn was great! She has so much fun in the pool, splashing, drinking the water and putting her face in. It is so fun to watch her grow up. Later in the afternoon we watched the parade and then went to the park for fireworks. I wasn't sure if we would make it to then considering she goes to bed at 7 and they didn't start till 9. We did though and she loved them. She laid on the ground and looked straight up at them. I covered her ears just in case but she did fine. It was a lot of fun.
