Santa

Here is a picture of Brooklyn and Santa. We were so impressed that she sat on his lap this year, last year she screamed and screamed. She is getting so big!

27 weeks

Pretty sure I am huge! This time around it sure grows alot faster.

27 weeks with baby boy on top, and 26 weeks with Brooklyn on bottom.
Probably weigh 15 pounds less 27 weeks pregnant this time than last.

It is crazy how the body works.

Thanksgiving

Tom and celebrated our 5th anniverary this week, we got to spend a nice night downtown. I can't believe it has already been 5 years, I can't imagine my life any other way!

So we had a really good Thanksgiving. We had the whole week off, and it was alot of fun getting to spend the time with Brooklyn. She is doing really well on her potty training. It has been 2 weeks, and only 1 or 2 accidents. This past week she has had none, and she has even been telling us when she needs to go rather than us asking her all of the time. She is doing ok in her toddler bed, some nights she sleeps in it, sometimes in her crib. It doesn't matter to us where she sleeps as we don't need the crib until the summer. I can't wait until Christmas time, she is going to have a blast this year. Then soon after Christmas (well like 2 months) our new baby boy will be here. Everyday Brooklyn asks, baby play now? She is going to be a great big sister.

24 weeks

Well only 16 more weeks left until we have our little boy. Can you believe I am only 24 weeks in this picture, I look huge. The good part is, it is all belly. I have gained about 9 pounds and am not even up to the weight I was when I got pregnant with Brooklyn. Doctor says everything looks good. Every month he has measured right where he was supposed to be but this week he measured a week big. I hope that doesn't mean anything, we'll have to see next month. I had to cut my head off in the picture because I think it was about 6am and wasn't ready to face the world yet :)

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin patch this past weekend, Brooklyn's favorite part had to be the petting zoo. She loves all the animals.

It's A Boy!

We found out yesterday that we are going to have a little boy... end of Feb, beginning of March. Our due date is March 2nd. I had a feeling it was a boy the whole time, but you never know. We are so excited.

Summer Fun

A new addition! Brooklyn is going to be a big sister. I am due March 2, 2010, exactly 2.5 years from Brooklyn's birthday. We are excited about the new baby and we will hopefully find out the gender Oct. 12. Stay tuned.

Here are some pics from Brooklyn's birthday party this weekend. We spent the day at my parents with our family and friends. The kids swam, played in the sprinklers and with bubbles and had a blast. I can't believe she is two.

Here are some pictures of Brooklyn's first bonfire. She loves the sand and was flithy by the end of the night. She also roasted marshmallows and ate smores.

We also had a fun time at the Escondido Children's Museum.

Here are some pics from Kid City at the Rueben H. Fleet Center. Brooklyn had a lot of fun playing with the food, assembly line, instruments and everything else. It was a fun afternoon.

Well, it has been a long time since my last post, 2 months. Well it has been a busy summer and I have been exhausted. We went to Utah in July and saw some friends from college. It was alot of fun to see the girls, but tiring having 4 kids 2 and under in the same household.

Tiny Tumblers

Here are some pictures of Brooklyn at the YMCA Tiny Tumblers open gym. She loved it, it is our new favorite place to take her. She had such a good time swinging and jumping, and climbing, it was hard to get her to leave.

June

June has been a busy month, the weather has been up and down and we have been able to get out and go places when it hasn't been too hot. Here is Brooklyn with her new shades. We have been out to the beach a few times. Brooklyn loves digging in the sand. We haven't braved the water yet, a little cold.

Here we were off to a retirement party, I think Brooklyn kept the clip in her hair for 3 minutes.

We have tickets to the Wild Animal Park/Zoo and Brooklyn loves the animals. I think her favorite are monkeys and she has a pretty funny monkey impersonation.

Mother's Day

We had a good weekend, shopping at the mall, and Toys R Us, dinner at a friends house, breakfast with grandma, and dinner and swimming with the family. Overall a good weekend. Sunday morning Tom got up with Brooklyn and I got to sleep in a little, he went to Starbucks and got me coffee, and flowers from the store. Brooklyn brought me the flowers in bed, it was cute because she had to drag them so it left leaves ( a trail) from the door.

Spring Break

Brooklyn and I went to Virginia for a couple of days to see my sister and her new twins. It was alot of fun and exhausting all at once. Traveling with a 1 and a half year old is tiring. It was a long flight but I couldn't have asked for a better behaved child. Although she was wiggly, she was excellent!
