6 months

Eating, sitting and almost crawling!

Brooklyn is just growing so fast. She has been eating solids for 2 weeks now and she loves them. It is so entertaining to watch her eat.
She is also sitting on her own... at least for a minute or so. I can't believe all of the milestones she is hitting. This past week she has begun to scoot around in a circle. She is almost crawling (and the house is not child proof yet). She loves playing with the remote control so I will drag the remote around and she will pull herself around in a circle. She could probably go forward if she really tried...just like she could probably roll over from her tummy to her back if she tried... but she doesn't.

I will post new pics soon, our home computer is down so we have been bringing home our school computers and I haven't gotten around to it.

Brooklyn 5 months

How time flies!

Wow! How fast do the days go? I was just listening to the song Don't Blink and I was thinking that Brooklyn is now 5 months old. Yes, I know, that isn't very old, but it seems like only yesterday she was born. That got me thinking that I have now been teaching 6th graders for almost 2 years, which led me to thinking that I graduated college almost 4 years ago. How I miss those college days playing soccer and hanging out with friends, but how I love my new life with my husband and my baby.
My sister recently lost her baby. and my grandpa has been sick, I now more than ever appreciate and cherish every moment with my daughter and my family, because time goes so fast and you never know what is going to happen.

Brooklyn

Brooklyn is now 13 weeks old. She is such a wonderful addition to our family. She is constantly smiling, and making us smile. She has recently found her hands and she likes to put them in her mouth, you should here the sounds she makes when her hands are in her mouth. Along with finding her hands, she now can hold and play with toys. She loves things that light up and make noise.
