June

June has been a busy month, the weather has been up and down and we have been able to get out and go places when it hasn't been too hot. Here is Brooklyn with her new shades. We have been out to the beach a few times. Brooklyn loves digging in the sand. We haven't braved the water yet, a little cold.

Here we were off to a retirement party, I think Brooklyn kept the clip in her hair for 3 minutes.

We have tickets to the Wild Animal Park/Zoo and Brooklyn loves the animals. I think her favorite are monkeys and she has a pretty funny monkey impersonation.

Mother's Day

We had a good weekend, shopping at the mall, and Toys R Us, dinner at a friends house, breakfast with grandma, and dinner and swimming with the family. Overall a good weekend. Sunday morning Tom got up with Brooklyn and I got to sleep in a little, he went to Starbucks and got me coffee, and flowers from the store. Brooklyn brought me the flowers in bed, it was cute because she had to drag them so it left leaves ( a trail) from the door.

Spring Break

Brooklyn and I went to Virginia for a couple of days to see my sister and her new twins. It was alot of fun and exhausting all at once. Traveling with a 1 and a half year old is tiring. It was a long flight but I couldn't have asked for a better behaved child. Although she was wiggly, she was excellent!

In the last month we have gone to legoland, the zoo and it was warm enough (80) degrees or so to go in the sprinklers...sorry for all you in cold weather :)
ZOO Brooklyn loves the animals. This is the petting zoo and the Zoo, but she also loves the Wild Animal Park, especially the monkeys!

We were at my parents house and my dad was watering the lawn so we took off Brooklyn's clothes nd let her play. She had a blast.

Valentine's Weekend

We had Friday and Monday off this past week so it was nice to spend some time at home. It was a little rainy so we had to play inside. We brought Brooklyn's slide indoors, and went to the playground at the mall. On Sunday we went up to the snow and we had a lot of fun. Brooklyn liked sledding and eating the snow. Brooklyn got blocks for Valentine's day and she really likes to stack them up.

New Years Eve

New Year's Eve we went and played in the leaves across the street, we have some really pretty leaves that are now falling. Then later in the evening we went to our friends house where the kids stole the show with the Karaoke machine, it was hilarious. Brooklyn went to bed around 7:30 a little later than normal but got woken up around 9:30 and wouldn't go back to bed. She ended up staying up till we went home at 12:30am. She is a little party animal!
